The standards behind every published record.

Editorial decisions are made solely by the editorial office on scholarly grounds. Authors cannot publish their own work, mint identifiers, or approve their own submissions or certificates. These restrictions are enforced in the platform itself, not only by policy.

• Author. Prepares, submits and revises manuscripts.
• Reviewer. Assesses submissions and records an advisory recommendation.
• Editor. Issues decisions: approve, request revisions, or reject.
• Senior Editor. Handles appeals, disputed cases and certificate approvals.
• Administrator. Maintains the platform, roles and archival integrity.

• Originality and a clearly stated contribution.
• Methodological soundness appropriate to the discipline.
• Evidence that supports the stated conclusions.
• Complete, accurate and verifiable referencing.
• Clarity of structure and language.
• Compliance with our Publication Ethics and Author Guidelines.

• Approved for publication. The manuscript enters the public archive and receives a Publication ID.
• Revisions requested. Specific, actionable editorial notes are returned to the author.
• Rejected. The manuscript is not suitable; reasons are recorded.

Every transition - submission, review, revision, approval, publication and certificate action - is written to an immutable editorial history with the date and the acting editor. Authors see their own decision notes; internal notes remain visible to editorial staff only.

Published records cannot be silently edited. Substantive changes require a new editorial cycle. Where an error materially affects conclusions, the editorial office may issue a correction or, in serious cases, a retraction notice attached permanently to the record.

The archive currently includes publications produced by the Time Travels Editorial Team and Research Office to demonstrate the platform's structure, identifiers and certificates. These are labelled as editorial demonstration publications and are not presented as original primary research by individual named researchers.
